Extraordinary Action to suspend the Registrant's practice was approved on May 24, 2018.

The College of Licensed Practical Nurses of British Columbia (CLPNBC) Inquiry Committee issued an order suspending the registration of Heather Bennett of Abbotsford, British Columbia (Registration No. 34789), on an interim basis during the ongoing investigation of a complaint.

While Ms. Bennett's registration is suspended, she must not engage in the practice of nursing.

This order was issued under section 35(1)(b) of the Health Professions Act.

Interim Risk Mitigation to remove the Registrant from practice was voluntarily agreed upon on March 21, 2018. 

Following a breach of an Agreement of Undertaking, the Registrant agreed not to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), use the title LPN or nurse, or apply for conversion or reinstatement of practising registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of British Columbia (CLPNBC) until the matter has been resolved by CLPNBC’s Inquiry Committee and she has been advised by CLPNBC that she is able to do so.

Suman Aheer, #44659

Extraordinary Action to limit the Registrant’s practice was approved on October 6, 2017.

The College of Licensed Practical Nurses of British Columbia (CLPNBC) Inquiry Committee issued an order to impose a limitation on the practice of Suman Aheer of Delta, British Columbia (Registration No. 44659). Her CLPNBC registration has the limitation of “No Medication Administration”, on an interim basis during the ongoing investigation of a complaint.

While Ms. Aheer’s registration has a limitation, she must not engage in the practice of administering any medications. 

This order was issued under section 35(1)(a) of the Health Professions Act.

Update: The limitation under section 35(1)(a) was cancelled on February 27, 2018 following Ms. Aheer’s voluntary conversion to non-practising registration.

The College of Licensed Practical Nurses of British Columbia (CLPNBC) Inquiry Committee issued an order suspending the registration of Heather Berg of Nanaimo, British Columbia (Registration No. 42332), on an interim basis during the ongoing investigation of a complaint.

While Ms. Berg’s registration is suspended, she must not engage in the practice of nursing.  

This order was issued under section 35(1)(b) of the Health Professions Act.

Extraordinary Action to suspend the Registrant’s registration was approved on April 27, 2017.

The College of Licensed Practical Nurses of British Columbia (CLPNBC) Inquiry Committee issued an order suspending the registration of Lynda Huble of Prince George, British Columbia (Registration No. 14993), on an interim basis during the ongoing investigation of a complaint.

While Ms. Huble’s registration is suspended, she must not engage in the practice of nursing.  

This order was issued under section 35(1)(b) of the Health Professions Act.

Update: The suspension under section 35(1)(b) was cancelled on December 1, 2017 following completion of the investigation as it was determined that it was no longer necessary to protect the public. 

Debra Genesse, #40859

Extraordinary Action to limit the Registrant’s practice was approved on February 3, 2017.

The College of Licensed Practical Nurses of British Columbia (CLPNBC) Inquiry Committee issued an order to impose a limitation on the practice of Debra Genesse of Peachland, British Columbia (Registration No. 40859). Her CLPNBC registration has the limitation of “No Medication Administration”, on an interim basis during the ongoing investigation of a complaint.

While Ms. Genesse’s registration has a limitation, she must not engage in the practice of administering any medications. 

This order was issued under section 35(1) (a) of the Health Professions Act

Update: Limitation under section 35(1) (a) was lifted on June 28, 2017 following Ms. Genesse’s voluntary resignation as a registrant.

Helen Bosch, #10196

Extraordinary Action to suspend the Registrant's registration was approved on December 8, 2016.

The College of Licensed Practical Nurses of British Columbia (CLPNBC) Inquiry Committee issued an order suspending the registration of Helen Bosch of Chilliwack, British Columbia (Registration No. 10196), on an interim basis during the ongoing investigation of a complaint.

While Ms. Bosch’s registration is suspended, she must not engage in the practice of nursing.

This order was issued under section 35(1)(b) of the Health Professions Act.

Update: Suspension under section 35(1)(b) was lifted on March 23, 2017 following Ms. Bosch’s voluntary resignation as a registrant.

The College of Licensed Practical Nurses of British Columbia (“CLPNBC”) Inquiry Committee issued an order limiting the registration of Katrina Faganello of Duncan, British Columbia (Registration No. 35590). Her CLPNBC registration has the limitation of “Supervised Medication Administration”, on an Interim basis, during the ongoing investigation of a complaint.

While Ms. Faganello’s registration has a limitation, she must not engage in the practice of administering any medication(s) independently.

This order was issued under section 35(1) (a) of the Health Professions Act.

Update: The limit under section 35(1)(a) of the Health Professions Act was cancelled on May 24, 2018 following Ms. Faganello's voluntary resignation as a registrant.

The College of Licensed Practical Nurses of British Columbia (“CLPNBC”) Inquiry Committee issued an order suspending the registration of Brigitta Pelcz of Kelowna, British Columbia (Registration No. 44857). 

While Ms. Pelcz’s registration is suspended, she must not engage in the practice of nursing. 

This order was issued under section 35(1)(b) of the Health Professions Act.

Update: Extraordinary action is no longer in effect and the continued suspension is now governed by the March 7, 2017 Order of the Discipline Committee.
