2014 AGM held on June 11 scope of practice inquiry form

Along with the reports from the Board Chair, Executive Director and CLPNBC auditor, one resolution was introduced, discussed and voted upon by the eligible voters. Did you miss the AGM? We have some highlights for you.

Are you wondering if a nursing activity is, or should be, part of LPN scope of practice? If so, please fill out CLPNBC’s new Scope of Practice Inquiry Form. This form gives us information that helps us determine the safe nursing activities to include in the Scope of Practice for Licensed Practical Nurses.

Are you an internationally educated nurse? If so, the UniversitĂ© du QuĂ©bec en Outaouais invites you to complete the first nationwide survey on the integration and retention of internationally educated nurses (IENs) in Canada. 

Hong Wei an LPN, works at a provincial corrections facility with James, an RN. Robert, an inmate, requires a TB skin test. Hong Wei receives clinical direction from James to administer the test. Does she need additional preparation to do the test?
