Voting on resolutions

After a resolution has been presented:

  • The resolution contact may be seated.
  • The resolution becomes the property of the assembly and is open for discussion before a vote takes place to accept or reject the resolution.
  • Voting follows discussion.
  • Resolutions are advisory only, therefore if a resolution is approved, it means the Board may discuss at a future board meeting what action, if any, it may take.
